Step 1

What it is and where to find it

Day results are a short evening journal: a rating with one emoji, a summary of the day from the app, a couple of lines of text and gratitude. One entry per date.

  • Main: the rating button in the header, to the right of today's date, sets the rating, and the “📝 Day results” item next to “Productivity” opens the full screen.
  • Long-press the “Main” tab → “Day results”.
  • Siri: “Sum up my day in MyLife”.
  • Widgets: after 20:00 a “Results” button appears in the large “My Day” widget, and there are also buttons in “Navigation” and Control Center.
  • Android: the “📝 Day results” card on Main, which moves to the top from 19:00. The rating button on the right of the card sets the rating.
  • Web app: the “Day results” item in the menu, and in the evening a “How was your day?” card on the “Overview”.
The “Day results” screen: a week with emoji ratings, Spent, Income, Tasks completed 2/5 and Habits 2/3 cards, the text of the day and gratitude

Step 2

Rating the day

Tap the rating button to the right of the “Day results” title and pick one of three emoji. The rating is saved right away and appears under the date in the calendar.

😥BadA rough day
👍OkayAn ordinary day
🔥GreatA good day
  • The rating button is the same everywhere: a square with a dashed border showing the rating emoji, or “❔” while there's no rating. Besides the results screen, it sits in the Main header to the right of the date, and on Android on the “Day results” card. Without PRO, Main shows a lock instead of the emoji.
  • Change the rating any time with the same menu.
  • In the web app there are three rating buttons, and clicking the selected one again clears it.
🌙
If you have no energy to write, at least add an emoji: over a month they add up to a picture of your mood.
Step 3

Day summary

MyLife builds four cards from other sections on its own, so there's nothing to fill in.

  • 🛒

    Spent

The day's expenses in your main currency, with rings for the biggest categories.

  • 💵

    Income

The day's income. Green if anything came in.

  • ✅

    Tasks completed

How many tasks from the day's plan are checked off, for example 2/5. Tasks without a date don't count.

  • 💧

    Habits completed

The day's habits with a ring for each: a filled green ring means the habit is done.

Tasks and habits are green when everything is done, yellow when something is left, and gray if there was nothing planned for the day.

Step 4

Text and gratitude

At the bottom of the screen there's one field, “What was good? Bad?”, and a row of gratitude notes.

✍️

Text of the day

Write freely. There's no save button: the text saves itself when you leave the field.

🙏

Gratitude

“➕ Gratitude” adds a short note: who or what you're grateful for. Tap a note to edit or delete it.

🤖
The assistant button to the left of the gratitude notes helps you sum up: it recaps the day from your tasks and expenses and writes down whatever you dictate.
Step 5

Recall the day iPhone only

The “✨ Recall the day” button opens the system Journaling Suggestions and turns the moment you pick into a line of text.

  • What iPhone suggests: workouts, steps, places, people you talked to, music and podcasts, photos.
  • From iOS 18 it adds state of mind and reflection prompts, and from iOS 26 event posters too.
  • Requires iOS 17.2 or later. There's no button on iPad and Mac.
  • The data is processed on your iPhone, and only the moment you pick gets into MyLife.
Step 6

Past days

The calendar at the top of the screen shows ratings under the dates. Tap a day to open its results.

  • Week or month: pull the bar under the calendar down to expand the month, and up to collapse it.
  • Past days can be filled in and re-rated any time. Future days aren't available.
  • In the web app there's a “Month in review” with a rating counter and a streak of days, a feed of entries with search through text and gratitude, and deleting a whole entry.
Step 7

Evening reminder

Every evening at 21:30 MyLife sends a notification asking whether you've done your day results, and reminds you that a short evening review helps you grow and set priorities. The reminder is on from the start if you've allowed notifications.

  • On iPhone, iPad and Mac: “Profile” → “Settings” → “Sound & notifications” → “Day results”. The time and the toggle are there too.
  • On Android: “Settings” → “Notifications” → “Day results”.
  • Tapping the notification opens the “Tasks” section. Open the results screen from Main.
  • The reminder is stored on the device: you set it up separately on each phone. The web app has no reminders.
FAQ

FAQ

Do I need to fill in everything every day?
No. The rating, text and gratitude are independent: you can just set an emoji or write a single line.
Can I do day results for yesterday?
Yes. Pick the day in the calendar at the top of the screen and fill it in. Future days aren't available.
Where do the numbers in the cards come from?
From other sections: the day's expenses and income from “Finance”, the day's tasks from “Tasks”, the day's habits from “Habits”. Check off a task, and the card updates.
Why don't I get the evening reminder?
Make sure notifications for MyLife are allowed in your phone settings and that “Day results” is on in the app's reminder settings. On Android the reminder only comes when you're signed in and the “Tasks” section is turned on in the sections settings.
Why is there no “Recall the day” button?
It only works on iPhone with iOS 17.2 or later. It isn't available on iPad, Mac, Android or the web app.
Can I remove a rating?
In the app you can only change the rating to another one. In the web app, clicking the selected rating again clears it.
Do I need PRO?
Yes, day results are part of PRO. Entries made with a subscription stay after it ends.
