What it is
A chat inside MyLife that sees your records and can add new ones. The assistant runs on Claude by Anthropic and is available on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android and in the web app.
- Answers from your data: it finds the right records and does the math itself.
- Logs things for you in one sentence: an expense, a task, an event, a habit, a goal with stages.
- Shows the result as a card with an “Undo” button under each action.
- Chat history is shared across all devices. If you come back within two hours, your last conversation continues.
- Replies in the language you ask in: English, Russian, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese.

Where to open it
You need to be signed in and have “AI features” turned on in settings. The first time you open it, the assistant asks for your consent to data processing.
- 📱
iPhone, iPad, Mac
The round button on the left of the bottom bar, or above your profile in the sidebar on iPad and Mac. Also: a quick action on the app icon, the Navigation and My Day widgets, a Control Center button and the Siri command “Ask MyLife”.
- 🤖
Android
The round button on the left of the bottom bar and a quick action on the app icon.
- 💻
Web app
The button at the bottom right, labeled for the page you're on, for example “Ask about this goal”. On a narrow screen it's a circle in the bottom bar. The Assistant section in the menu shows all your conversations.
From a record: the assistant button is on the task, goal, debt, day result and Budget Plan screens. The chat opens with that record, so you can ask about it right away: “Break this goal into stages”, “How much do I still owe?”. A new empty goal has a “Break it down with the assistant” banner.
What to ask
The assistant sees your tasks, habits, goals, calendar, finances, Budget Plan, debts, subscriptions, day results and XP.
- Finances: it breaks them down by category, life area, account, tag, month and author, including shared group accounts.
- How to use the app: it can explain that too, since it has access to this help center.
What it can log for you
Talk to it like a person: “Coffee $5”, “Call with Anna tomorrow at 10”, “Remind me to buy a gift for Mom on Friday”.
- 💳
Finance
Expenses, income and transfers with a category, account, tags and note, editing expenses, new categories. Expenses and income on shared group accounts.
- ✅
Tasks
A task with a due date, repeat, priority and reminder, in the right list and section. Subtasks, checking off and rescheduling. New lists and sections.
- 📅
Calendar
Events with a repeat, color, link and reminder, and editing them.
- 💧
Habits
A new habit, changing its days and time, checking it off.
- 🎯
Goals
A goal with stages and tasks right away, or stages and tasks for an existing goal.
- 🤝
Debts
A new debt and a debt payment. If the debt is linked to an account, a transaction appears in your wallet too.
- 📋PRO
Budget Plan
Builds a monthly plan from your past spending, adds, changes or removes a row.
- 🌙PRO
Day results
A rating, text and gratitude for today or a past day.
Undo and checks
The assistant logs things right away, without extra questions. If it gets something wrong, every action card has an “Undo” button.
- Undo is precise: what was created is deleted, what was changed goes back to how it was, a check mark is removed. Other records in the conversation stay untouched.
- No time limit: you can undo the next day too, from the chat history. Each action can be undone once.
- Undo doesn't use up questions, but it only works with AI features turned on.
The assistant asks first if:
- the record might duplicate or replace an existing one;
- the amount looks odd for that account, like an extra zero;
- it's unclear who owes whom;
- you ask to rebuild the plan without saying which rows to remove.
Voice input
Every platform has a microphone button in the input field. The recognized text isn't sent automatically: you can edit it first.
- 📱
iPhone, iPad, Mac
The system does the recognition. The first time you tap it, the app asks for access to the microphone and speech recognition. Recording stops on its own after a minute.
- 🤖
Android
The phone's speech recognition, stops when you pause. If your phone has no recognition service, the button won't appear.
- 💻
Web app
The browser does the recognition: the button is available in Chrome and Safari, but not in Firefox.
How many questions per day
Without a subscription the assistant answers 3 questions a day, with PRO 50. Only questions where the assistant used your data count: searched, calculated or logged something.
- Not counted: follow-up clarifications, answers that didn't use your data and questions that ended with an error.
- A rolling day: each question comes back 24 hours after you asked it. There's no reset at midnight.
- How many are left the assistant will tell you when you're running low.
- There's also a monthly cap. Once you hit it, the assistant says “You're out of questions for this month”.
- In a long conversation the assistant will suggest starting over: it answers more accurately in a new chat.
What it can't do
These limits are intentional.
- It doesn't delete records, except Budget Plan rows. If you ask it to delete something else, it explains how to do it manually.
- It doesn't see notes or the life area balance.
- It doesn't create or change subscriptions, income after it's logged, or the debt itself. It can only read subscriptions.
- It doesn't move money between your own account and someone else's shared one.
- It doesn't write essays or code: it answers everyday questions briefly and otherwise sticks to your life in MyLife.
Data and privacy
To answer, the assistant needs context: your question, the last messages in the conversation, the records it found and the names of your accounts, categories and lists.
- Where data goes: requests go through the MyLife server in Europe to Anthropic. The relay server doesn't store the content. Models aren't trained on this data.
- History is stored in your MyLife account. A deleted conversation is erased completely.
- Consent is given separately and withdrawn with the “AI features” switch, which is in the app settings on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android. The web app has no switch: the setting is shared across your account and applies there too. If you turn it back on, you'll be asked for consent again.
- Text inside your records is treated as data, never run as commands.
- You can hide the section in the section settings if you don't need the assistant.
