Step 1

Where the feed is and who sees it

The feed opens from Main: the “Feed” chip next to the date, with a badge for new posts. You can also open it by long-pressing the “Main” tab.

  • For a Russian-speaking audience: the feed is shown if your device region is in the CIS or Russian is among your app or phone languages. Posts are written and moderated in Russian.
  • Apple apps only: there's no feed on Android or in the web app. A link to a post opens in a browser, but read-only.
  • Reading doesn't require signing in. To post, react and comment, sign in to your account.
  • Filters: “All types” and “All life areas”, you can pick several. Your choice is remembered. Newest posts are on top.
  • Stories above the feed come from the MyLife team: that's where we tell you about new features.

Step 2

Post types

The type helps readers find what they're looking for. Choose it when you publish.

  • 🎯

    Goal

What you're planning and by when. A public goal keeps you on track.

  • 🏆

    Achievement / Step

A win or a small step: a hundred days without sugar, the first thousand in your savings.

  • 💬

    Challenges / Questions

What isn't working and where you need advice.

  • 💡

    Lifehack

A trick that works for you, in the app or in life.

Step 3

How to write a post

The “Write a post” button at the bottom of the feed, or “New Post” in “Profile” → “My Posts”.

  1. Title and text

Required, along with the post type.

  2. Type and life area

The life area is optional. It's a tag for filters, one of the ten standard ones: “Health”, “Finance”, “Career” and others.

  3. Photos

Up to 5 from your gallery or camera. The app shrinks them before uploading, each photo up to 10 MB. You can't publish while a photo is still uploading.

  4. Anonymous

The toggle hides your name and emoji.

  5. “Publish”

The post goes to review. Once it's approved, you'll get a “Post published” notification.

Step 4

Reactions

Tap the reactions badge under a post and choose one of six. Tap your own reaction again to remove it.

  • One reaction per person per post, and you can change it.
  • Under the post you see the emoji of the reactions it got and their total count.
  • No notifications about reactions are sent to the author.
Step 5

Comments

Tap a post to open it in full with comments. The input field is at the bottom.

  • Comments aren't anonymous: your emoji and name are always shown. If the author of an anonymous post replies in the comments, they'll be visible.
  • Newest first, with no reply threads.
  • You can delete only your own comment. You can report someone else's.
  • The post author gets a “New comment” notification, including for an anonymous post.

Step 6

Anonymity and author

A regular post shows the emoji avatar and name from the profile, and under the name, the author's place in the overall XP ranking.

🔥 Top 3💪🏻 Top 40Top 500Top 1000No ranking
  • Anonymous post: 👻 instead of the author, and the server doesn't send the name, emoji or ranking.
  • Comment notifications for an anonymous post still come to you.
  • How to get into the ranking is explained in “XP and levels”.
Step 7

Moderation and reports

Every new and every edited post is reviewed by a person from the MyLife team. Until it's approved, the post isn't visible in the feed.

  • Report a post or comment: the “⋯” menu → reason. The author won't know about the report.
  • Reasons: spam or advertising, offensive content, misinformation, dangerous content, privacy violation, other reason.
  • A post that breaks the rules is blocked by the moderator, and a comment is deleted.
🤝
Write the way you'd like others to write to you: support works better than criticism.
Step 8

My posts

You don't see your own posts in the shared feed: they're collected in “Profile” → “My Posts”.

  • Status of unpublished posts: “Under moderation” or “Archived”.
  • You can edit a post at any time, but after editing it goes back to review and disappears from the feed until approved. Photos can't be changed when editing.
  • “Archive” removes the post from the feed. To bring it back, edit and save it: the post will go through review again.
  • “Delete” removes the post from the feed and your profile.
  • “Share” gives you a link to a published post: it opens in a browser, even for people who don't have MyLife.
✅
The feed is free: you can post, react and comment without PRO. Posts don't earn XP.
